Payment Policy
Tuition fees are due by their first class of the month however,
any outstanding balances after the 15th of the month will be charged a $5.00 late fee.
Any student with tuition not paid by the 15th of the month may be removed from their class. Ratios are pre-set and waiting lists have been formed for many classes. Please let us know if your child will be taking some time off in order to allow as many children on the waiting list to participate as possible.
You will be allowed to make-up ONE class within the month if the child misses their scheduled class. For more information see our “Attendance Policy.”
Attendance Policy
We believe it is always best for your child to attend his or her assigned class for many reasons. Since it is not always possible, as a courtesy, Tumblemania allows one make-up class per month. Mommy and Me and Tiny Tots will need to come to another Mommy and Me or Tiny Tots to do a make up. One Hour classes will use any General Make Up class on the schedule. You do not need to call ahead of time if you are coming to a class labeled General Make Up Class. We view make-ups as a privilege, not a right. If people abuse this system, we will be forced to discontinue it. Make-up classes are limited to one per four week session (unless the class is missed due to inclement weather or scheduled make-ups). Make up classes may not be carried over to the next month to be used as a scheduled class. To make up a class from the month before, you MUST be current in the next months tuition in order to make up. All-Star cheerleading does have a separate attendance policy that does not include make-ups.
Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather we will follow the Burke County Public School schedule for the first day. If public schools are closed for more than one day please call 828-437-0030 for a recorded message or check tumblemaniagymnastics.com or our Facebook page, Tumblemania School of Gymnastics. We also use the remind app, please make sure you have signed up for this text service. If inclement weather occurs on a day that is not a school day, a decision to close will be made and posted by 1 p.m. and a decision to operate on a reduced schedule that night will be made by 4:30 pm.
If there is a 2 hour delay morning classes will operate on a one hour delay of start time. If there is a three hour delay morning classes will be cancelled and afternoon classes will operate on a regular schedule.
Cleaning
We will continue to be diligent with our sanitizing. As always, our athletes are our top priority and this will be no different. Our goal is to keep all athletes, families and staff healthy by implementing increased hygiene practices as well as increased sanitation of all surfaces at the gym!
We are also adding an additional sanitizing spray that has been introduced to our industry and recommended that will not only help with this but with the various other ailments we disinfect for. I hope that you have found our plan reassuring that we are doing everything possible to keep our families safe as we join in North Carolina's opening. Thank you so very much for understanding and working with us on these precautions as we navigate through these waters together.
